Ingredients of Chicken Akni
- You need 500 gms of left over chicken gravy.
- It's 100 gms of potatoes.
- Prepare 50 gms of tomatoes.
- It's 2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
- Prepare 3 of big that's approximately 100 gm onions.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of red chilli powder.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of coriander powder.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
- You need 5-8 of green chilies.
- Prepare 1 tsp of salt.
- You need 100 gm of boiled chickpeas.
- Prepare 2 cups of rice.
- Prepare 1 cup of oil.
- It's 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
Chicken Akni step by step
- In oil fry onion till golden brown then add ginger garlic paste and cumin seeds fry them on medium high flame then add tomatoes.
- Fry on high flame for 5 seconds then add 2tsp water so onion wont get black. Then add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt stir fry them till oil separates..
- Then add potatoes and little water and cover with the lid once potatoes are tender then add left over chicken gravies... I had qorma and achari chicken and add chickpeas at the same time..
- Stir fry on high flame and once oil separates add soaked rice mix well and then add water and let it cook for a while. When water evaporates cover the lid turn the flame to low and let it cook for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve it with onion and yogurt......
