Ingredients of Chicken Akni

  1. You need 500 gms of left over chicken gravy.
  2. It's 100 gms of potatoes.
  3. Prepare 50 gms of tomatoes.
  4. It's 2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
  5. Prepare 3 of big that's approximately 100 gm onions.
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp of red chilli powder.
  7. Prepare 2 tbsp of coriander powder.
  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
  9. You need 5-8 of green chilies.
  10. Prepare 1 tsp of salt.
  11. You need 100 gm of boiled chickpeas.
  12. Prepare 2 cups of rice.
  13. Prepare 1 cup of oil.

Chicken Akni step by step

  1. In oil fry onion till golden brown then add ginger garlic paste and cumin seeds fry them on medium high flame then add tomatoes.
  2. Fry on high flame for 5 seconds then add 2tsp water so onion wont get black. Then add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt stir fry them till oil separates..
  3. Then add potatoes and little water and cover with the lid once potatoes are tender then add left over chicken gravies... I had qorma and achari chicken and add chickpeas at the same time..
  4. Stir fry on high flame and once oil separates add soaked rice mix well and then add water and let it cook for a while. When water evaporates cover the lid turn the flame to low and let it cook for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Serve it with onion and yogurt......
