- Cut, peel and wash your yam.
- Cut the chicken in bite sizes and place in a clean pot on a burner.
- When the juices of the chicken dries up, add water, palm oil and spices (salt, pepper and stock cube) to taste.
- Add the yam and enough water to cook it and cover the pot.
- When the yam is tender, remove a few pieces and mash up in a plate, then,return it to the pot (for thickening).
- Adjust the seasoning and add the vegetables or left over salad.
- Cover for two minutes and turn off the heat..
